Report a missed collection

Let us know if your bin was not emptied on your scheduled day. We aim to return within two working days.

Before you report

Please check the following before submitting a report, as these are the most common reasons a collection does not take place:

  • Your bin was at the kerbside before 6am on your collection day
  • The bin lid was fully closed and not overloaded
  • No contamination was present — for example, food waste in the recycling bin
  • Your collection day has not changed due to a recent bank holiday

Crews are required to leave bins that are contaminated, overloaded, or not accessible. If any of these applied, the missed collection cannot be reported — please correct the issue and present your bin on your next scheduled day.

What we need from you

What happens next

We will investigate and, if the miss is confirmed, arrange a return collection within two working days. Leave your bin at the kerbside — do not move it back until it has been emptied. You will receive a confirmation reference by email when your report is logged.
